As a small Foundation we want to see your donations doing something you can get so excited about. We have found a unique program in Costa Rica we would like to share with you. We went to Costa Rica to see for ourselves and came back bursting to share this opportunity with you. We are proud to offer you the opportunity to participate in this effort of saving our planet by planting trees, becoming carbon neutral, becoming a sponsor of children?s education, becoming a volunteer and helping with continuing research. This research consists of educating teachers, finding trees that fit the environment and produce higher levels of oxygen to absorb greenhouse gases more efficiently, and looking for alternative energies.

We met with the directors of The Tropical Sierra Foundation (TSF) in San Jose, CR and they showed us how they have built a model that makes Carbon Neutrality achievable. Wow! It is really true; simply planting a few trees in barren fields and along river banks to stop water pollutions and flooding being donated by land owners to this program we can completely wipe out the CO2 emissions that are causing global warming? We questioned this and have found that it is true ? a U.S. family of four can plant a few dozen trees in the fast growing regions of the rainforest that will completely offset their carbon output. We have the U.S. government facts on our website at www.rainforestcredits.org that tells about this ? it is an achievable goal!

Rainforest Credits Foundation?s mission is simply that each person becomes Carbon Neutral by planting enough trees to offset the amount of carbon dioxide he or she produces each year. Having a world our children and grandchildren can live in is our vision.

Our goal is to reach as many children as we can in education through schools, parks, zoos, reserves and any other areas that children attend regularly. We are building another website to help spread the information to schools and building educational programs for the world at www.kidsecoworld.com.

TSF has built online tools for your sponsors to put the WHAT MATTERS MOST link on their websites. It is a volunteer cooperative symbol of what is being done. When you click on the front of the Carbon Calculator, put your use of fuels in, it will tell you how many trees are needed for you to become instantly carbon neutral. It has a secure credit card acceptance merchant?s account so you can send the small amount of funds for the TSF to plant these trees.
