RCF is a supporter of the "What Matters Most" reforestation campaign in which you can participate by helping us challenge as many persons as possible to plant a tree. If everyone you know planted only one tree we can accomplish a lot!

Imagine if you invite only 5 persons to plant a tree, and they invite 5 persons.That is 25 persons! If they each invite 5 more we now have 125 and so on? The idea is to plant as many trees as possible to help offset the deforestation that is so rapidly depleting our rainforests and heating up our atmosphere. If everyone in North America would give up one high quality hamburger and send $5 to the plant a tree program we would begin to see quite a difference in the amount of trees growing in our hemisphere. Instead of the bare hills we now see, we may begin to see forests again like our grandparents enjoyed when they were young.

This is the idea behind the "What Matters Most" campaign. While scientists, politicians and businessmen argue about the extent of global warming, we decided it was better to simply start reversing the trend and plant some trees to absorb the hot air. How about helping us out? Your contribution can go a long way toward helping absorb a few greenhouse gases.
